Jun 2026 The Impact Center at CFBC Partner: SA Construct

Accessibility Ramp Remediation

  • $9,500 Reinvested
  • 400 to 500 Families / Month

What We Did

Replaced narrow, unsafe wooden stairs at The Impact Center at CFBC with an ADA-compliant ramp and 5'×5' landing, restoring safe, dignified access for elderly, disabled, and veteran clients who rely on the center's monthly food distribution.

Jun 2025 JBSA Fisher House Lackland Partner: 668 ALIS

Fisher House Guest Safe Installation

  • $5,000 Reinvested
  • 1,000+ Guests / Year

What We Did

Guest safes at the JBSA Lackland Fisher House sat unanchored on closet floors, so elderly guests, wounded warriors, and recovering patients had to kneel to secure their valuables. Working with active-duty volunteers from the 668 ALIS, two-person teams mounted 29 electronic safes at structurally anchored, ADA-compliant heights across three houses in a single morning, restoring daily dignity for 1,000+ guests a year and saving the facility $5,000 in contractor fees.

Dec 2025 Kallison Ranch Community Partner: Kallison Ranch Community

Christmas Handyman Giveaway Blitz

  • $14,000 Reinvested
  • 24+ Homes

What We Did

Small repairs pile up fast, and for local families, seniors, and veterans a contractor's bill can wreck a holiday budget. Over 14 days in December, HeroMount mobile teams delivered free handyman service across the Kallison Ranch community: 50+ repairs in 24+ homes, from ceiling fans, TV mounts, and appliance installs to leaking faucets and broken entry locks. Families kept $14,000 that would have gone to commercial contractors.

Dec 2025 JBSA Fisher House Lackland Partner: Fisher House Inc.

Fisher House Dual Closet Conversion

  • $6,500 Reinvested
  • 2 Guest Suites

What We Did

Two neighboring guest suites at the JBSA Lackland Fisher House shared one sliding bypass closet, so without secure storage for each family only one room could be used at a time. Partnering with Fisher House Inc., HeroMount removed the sliding doors, framed and finished a center partition wall, matched the casing and trim, and installed electronic keypad doors. Both suites can now house separate military families during medical stays.

Jul 2026 JBSA Fisher House Lackland Partner: Fisher House Inc.

Fisher House Refrigerator Remediation

  • $6,500 Reinvested
  • 16 Military Families

What We Did

Two homes at the JBSA Lackland Fisher House were running on failing refrigerators more than 20 years old. Fisher House Inc. funded new 84-inch units, but the cabinet cavities were built for 80-inch models and came up 4 inches short. HeroMount managed the whole job, from safety checks and site logistics to the structural work that opened each cavity to 84 inches, so the new units went in cleanly and food storage for 16 military families stayed uninterrupted.

Mission Details

May 2026 JBSA Fisher House Lackland Partner: 322 TRS

Fisher House Space Optimization

  • $900 Reinvested
  • 600 Families / Year

What We Did

The JBSA Lackland Fisher House needed more room for family dining, but chest freezers and side-by-side laundry units on bulky pedestals crowded the common areas, and the fixed footprint ruled out an addition. With Military Training Instructors from the 322 TRS, HeroMount took the laundry units off their pedestals and stacked them, moved the freezers out of the kitchen area, and reversed the freezer doors for easier use. Dining capacity came back the same day, serving 600 military families a year and saving $900 in technician fees.
